Benjamin Banneker Dog Park

Great Dog park. Fully fenced in. Has water and bowls there for your dogs and tables for you to sit at.

Waste bags are there but it is always better to bring your own. Over all very clean and nice. It is a dirt park so for us doggie parents I would recommend sneakers not flip flops in the summer unless you want dirty feel.

It has good amount of parking spaces. It is also very close to bike trail and major routes.

What I like most about This Dog Park is that it is very clean and dog owners do respect and clean after their dog.

Another big factor for me is, some dog parks are made of mulch and during rainy season, you just can't go there. It is always wet and muddy. At BB, floor is made of blue gravel and it makes it easier to drain and become dry after 30 min of any rain.

It could use more lights at night, but I course county says, parks are closed at dark.

After 5:00pm during summer time, park is fully under shade of the huge trees. This makes it very attractive during summer time.

This park belongs to Arlington County.

Homes in the immediate walking distance to the park range from $550K to $2M...It's easy access to 66 and 29 makes it commuters dream location, if you are commuting In and out of DC everyday.

Call me if you want your Dog to have a house close to Benjamin Banneker Park.
